ABOUT ABIES
Abies Austria commenced operating in the industrial wood processing field in 2005. KVH production has been running since May 2006 and they are one of the leading European manufacture of KVH and Glulam tied ready-made for the implementation of your timber construction project. Now known as ABIES Austria Holzververarbeitung GmbH they operate in Oberweis.
A wide range of products can be manufactured to your requirement, from wooden frames, walls and roofs for new houses and enlarging existing buildings. The company also manufactures allied products such as carports and pergolas. We also supply ready-made kits according to our client’s plans. Standard and special dimensions can be accommodated to ensure every need can be met.
The company uses kiln dried Spruce and Douglas Fir in the manufacturing process. All timber is sourced from sustainable forests.
The name “ABIES” is derived from the botanical name for spruce (Picea Abies) and fir (Abies Alba).
